Job Summary

As a Manufacturing Engineering Lead at US Engine Valve, you will be responsible for designing and specifying advanced electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems. You will also improve manufacturing support and maintenance programs through training and technical support. This role requires strong technical knowledge in machine function, processes, control systems, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives, and electrical/electronic systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing process specifications, machine parameters, and plans for scrap reduction and uptime improvements. Key Responsibilities

* Design control systems for machine tools, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
* Select capital equipment for manufacturing processes and improve current machine tools to increase uptime, quality, and productivity.
* Provide engineering support to production equipment and processes, including advising maintenance personnel.
* Establish programs for cost savings activities to support overall plant requirements.
* Advise in improving preventative maintenance programs and consult with suppliers and internal engineers for continuous improvement programs.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
* Strong technical knowledge in machine function, processes, control systems, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives, and electrical/electronic systems.
* Strong technical knowledge in mechanical design and capital equipment justification, project scheduling, and managerial planning.
* Ability to mentor and develop maintenance personnel and assist other plants/facilities with technical problems.
