Program ManagerAugusta Metro, GA (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Augusta+GA+USA)DescriptionThe Program Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the ongoing management and administration of critical systems, applications, networks, cybersecurity, and telecommunications services. This position is essential for enhancing IT practices and mechanisms, ensuring consistent support to end users, and maintaining operational efficiency. Utilizing the IT Service Management (ITSM) framework, specifically ITIL v4 or its latest version, the Program Manager will ensure the delivery of consistent, available, and reliable IT services, rapidly resolving issues and mitigating risks impacting business operations.The Program Manager will oversee standardized, on-site Information Technology (IT) services, including but not limited to:Helpdesk and desk-side support.Remote and on-site troubleshooting.On-site IT touch labor.System administrative support.Project task management support.Network security and cybersecurity support, including Risk Management Framework/Authority to Operate (RMF/ATO) support.In-room/on-site video teleconferencing support.Mobile and web applications support.Asset management support as required.Key Responsibilities:Program Management:Lead major IT assignments and projects, applying comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments.Evaluate performance results and recommend significant changes to enhance project growth and success.Serve as a programmatic expert across multiple project assignments.Liaison and Communication:Act as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.Monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.Team Leadership:Manage and direct activities of a large multi-disciplinary IT support group.Organize and direct work, leading multi-discipline teams to achieve objectives.Address complaints and resolve problems related to TO PWS requirements.Subcontractor Management:Develop complex IT program plans, manage subcontractors' staff, and execute program/business plans.Interface with other functional support groups and outside personnel.RequirementsEducational Requirement:Master's degree and/or equivalent experience.Certifications:Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP).ITIL 4 Foundation certification.Experience:Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in managing large multi-disciplinary IT support groups.Demonstrated experience in developing and leading complex IT program plans, resolving problems, and interfacing with various support groups.
