  • 5x8 Shifts (Start and End times will vary in this timeframe: 6:30-17:00)
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted
  • Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
  • General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: We have 4 SPECT locations and 1 Cardiac PET department; Cardiac Experience Required
  • Ratio / Census: This is a cardiac only department with an average case load for each site around 10 per day.
  • Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis
  • Scrub Color: Red
  • RTO: MAX 7 days
  • Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
  • Floating: Yes, throughout department
  • Call Requirements: Yes (Saturday, Sundays, and Holidays 7A-5P)
  • Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
  • Major Holidays are listed below:
  • New Year's Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1
  • Memorial Day: Monday, May 27
  • Independence Day: Thursday, July 4
  • Labor Day: Monday, September 2
  • Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29
  • Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25
  • Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
