Job Description:
Foothills (Ellenboro, NC) at Red Oak Recovery provides an
enriching and experiential program that helps adolescent boys
improve their lives. Using a holistic approach, our team supports
clients on their path to self-love, self-acceptance, and
self-awareness. Foothills specializes in the treatment of
adolescent boys, ages 13-17. We are a clinically dynamic, trauma
intensive substance abuse and mental health treatment program. Our
leadership team is made up of recognized experts in the field of
mental health who specialize in the integration of wilderness and
experiential therapy, substance abuse, trauma, and mental health
treatment.
Our focus is clinical care, and we utilize the latest
research-supported clinical modalities to ensure positive outcomes.
We are seeking a Milieu Therapist who will run groups for clients
as well as provide one on one sessions while being part of the
treatment team and assist in the development and execution of the
treatment plan for clients.
Responsibilities:
Provide group therapy for individuals with substance use and
co-occurring mental health disorders including but not limited to
assessment, group therapy, client education, all of which will be
reflected by accurate record keeping
Support Primary Therapists in coverage for groups, individual
sessions, intake, assessments, and case management if needed
Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients
Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions to assist clients in
overcoming challenges
Produce documentation including progress notes and other records in
a timely manner
Work in collaboration with other professionals as part of a
treatment team by attending meetings and keeping up with internal
communication
Work in collaboration with other professionals as part of a
treatment team
Participate in weekly rotation of on-call including crisis
management and clinical application review
Follow and meet established clinical and programmatic standards
Participate in clinical training to Recovery Guides, family
workshops, clinical projects and other clinical trainings if
needed
Conduct self in professional and ethical manner
Complete all requirements to maintain licensure

Salary:
$62,000.00 - $75,000.00
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Education/Experience:
Master's degree in Human Service field
LCMHC, LCSW, LCAS, LMFT or pursuing licensure
Experience in facilitating group therapy
Experience with experiential therapy
Preferred Qualifications:
Dually licensed in both Addiction and Mental Health Treatment (or
willing to seek both)
Experience working with adolescents in an Eco-Therapeutic
setting
Willing to complete requirements for licensure within 75 days of
start date
