Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of CVICU experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS (CCRN preferred) Must-Have: Strong critical thinking skills Job Description: - Work in a facility that includes a Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Center, and Level 3 NICU. - Serve in a 32-bed Emergency Department, 29-bed inpatient rehabilitation, 15-bed surgical suite, with imaging services. - Opportunity to work in the adult Behavioral Health Hospital. - The CVICU unit has 8 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1, occasionally 1:1. - Utilize equipment such as Impella, IABP, CRRT, and work with the Cerner EHR system. - Attend orientation offered twice monthly. - Responsibilities include caring for adult and geriatric patients. - Manage cases involving CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and Carotids. - Present a professional appearance with any color scrubs, adhering to the facility's dress code. This position suits individuals with strong critical thinking skills, capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
