Job Role Overview
A Radiology Technologist is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for performing radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of a Radiologist.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
  
• Document patient history pertaining to specific procedures on requisitions submitted by physicians.
  
• Confirm patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
  
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
  
• Consult with Radiologists and other physicians as necessary.
  
• Select and operate equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedures, demonstrating correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
  
• Maintain appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
  
  Physical Requirements
  This role requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers, handling equipment, and monitoring supplies. The ability to interact with patients and hospital staff is essential, with good oral and written communication skills. The position may require frequent stretching, bending, twisting, squatting, or kneeling in operating radiographic equipment.
  Education, Experience, and Certifications
  A successful candidate will have completed a formal Radiology Technology Program in an AMA-approved facility and be registered by the ARRT. One year of direct patient care work experience is preferred. BLS is required per policy guidelines.
