Operations Manager at Prisma Health, you will oversee the daily
clinical operations of assigned clinics, providing direct and
indirect patient care and managing the clinical flow of patients.
You will coordinate all clinical support for patients, families,
physicians, and support staff, ensuring effective and efficient

Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and other
activities related to direct patient care.
- Participate in the assessment of clinical staffing needs,
maintaining a master work schedule and adjusting staffing levels as
needed.
- Develop and conduct orientation and in-service training for
clinical staff.
- Develop, implement, and maintain emergency preparedness plans
for clinical response.
- Serve as the chief liaison between clinical staff and
physicians.
- Assist with developing and maintaining quality improvement
programs, including incident reports, patient complaints, and
suggestions.
- Monitor local, state, and federal regulations affecting
operations and assist with the development, implementation, and
monitoring of appropriate policies and procedures.
- Contact vendors for repair or routine service of medical
equipment.
- Maintain adequate levels of medical supplies and
pharmaceuticals.
- Responsible for adherence to DEA, DHEC, CLIA, and other
regulatory agency policies and procedures.
- Oversee physicians' schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory/Management
Responsibilities
- This is a non-management role that will report to a supervisor,
manager, director, or executive.Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing
- Experience: Two years of nursing experience in the specialty
area, with physician office practice experience preferred.In Lieu
Of
- In lieu of two years of nursing experience, may accept one year
of nursing experience in the specialty area and two years of
experience as a non-RN clinical coordinator in a physician
practice.
- In lieu of two years of nursing experience, may accept one year
of nursing experience and five years of Medical Assistant
experience.Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
- SC Registered Nurse
- CPR CertificationKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
- Mathematical skills
- Working knowledge of Patient Equip (Vitals, Suction,
Defib)
- Leadership skills
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice
- Knowledge of Laboratory and X-ray equipment and procedures
- Skill in developing and maintaining quality improvement
programs
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and
procedures
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
