Inspire Health, Serve with CompassionAbout the RolePrisma Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our General Surgery team. As a Clinical Nursing Expert, you will provide direct patient care, education, and support to patients in an outpatient physician practice setting.Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a physician specialty practice setting, utilizing advanced nursing knowledge and experience to influence nursing practice.
• Assess and evaluate patient health history, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform phone triage, utilizing critical thinking skills and advanced knowledge to handle patient concerns.
• Triage current patient population and incoming referrals, prioritizing scheduling of office visits and testing.
• Identify learning needs of patients and families, and develop and implement educational plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Assist with in-office procedures, providing comfort and safety measures for patients.
• Champion the development and implementation of quality improvement projects, policies, and procedures.RequirementsAssociate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred. 1 year of Clinical Nursing Experience within specialty or related applicable specialty. Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina. Certification in specialty area preferred.
