Delivering Compassionate CareJob SummaryAs a Registered Nurse with Prisma Health, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role involves delivering routine, standardized nursing care to patients under the supervision of the physician, promoting a culture of compassion and excellence.Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and other activities related to direct patient care, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
• Arrange for patient appointments for diagnostic testing, consults, referrals, and admission to hospital, prioritizing timely and efficient service.
• Monitor and maintain stock of medical supplies and proper functioning of equipment, upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
• Document patient's vital statistics and other encounter data into patient chart, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
• Obtain brief medical history and chief complaint from patients, using active listening skills to build trust and rapport.
• Call in prescriptions for patients according to physician order, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare exam rooms with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
• Receive and return clinically related telephone calls, screening and forwarding those requiring physician action, maintaining excellent communication skills.
• Complete medical/physical history forms and other related information for insurance companies, adhering to regulatory requirements.
