Job Summary:As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in providing patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse/Physician. Your responsibilities will include collecting data related to patient status, monitoring and documenting patient responses, and providing patient/family instruction.Key Responsibilities:

• Provides patient care based on individualized plans of care, taking into account patients' physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and educational needs.
• Monitors and documents patient status and condition, including vital signs, drains, dressings, and lab values.
• Informs appropriate Registered Nurse/Physicians of activities performed, observations of patients, and changes in patient status.
• Maintains accurate patient medical records and ensures confidentiality.
• Administers and documents medication administration according to policy.Requirements:
  • Completion of an LPN program recognized by the SC State Board of Nursing.
  • One (1) year experience as an LPN or completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or a comparable residency program.
  • Licensed to practice as an LPN in South Carolina.
