Job OverviewAs a Registered Nurse in our Acute Inpatient setting at Prisma Health, you will have the opportunity to inspire health and serve with compassion. We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care.Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting.
• Foster patient/family centered care.
• Demonstrate clinical competency utilizing evidence-based practices/research in all areas of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and outcomes.
• Identify patient, unit and organizational priorities and incorporate into the nursing process.
• Adhere to all compliance and policy/procedures of the organization.Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing.
  • One year experience as a registered nurse.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
  • Successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or successful completion of a comparable residency from another organization is also accepted in lieu of 1 year of registered nurse experience.
  • One year of licensed practical nurse (LPN) experience is also accepted in lieu of 1 year of registered nurse experience.Work EnvironmentOur Acute Inpatient setting requires staff to be scheduled for a significant amount of shift, weekend, holiday, and on-call work.
