• ACLS required for certain specialties
• PALS required for ER, Pediatrics, and PICU
• NRP must be an Advanced Provider Cert through American Academy of Pediatrics
• CHEMO certification preferred for Oncology
• TNCC certification preferences
• EFM required for L&D RNs
• CPI required for Psych/Behavioral Health RNs
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam requirements

  • Float: Med/surg Service line
  • Every other weekend
  • The adult overflow unit is a 10 bed unit that services all UH admitting physician teams. Examples: Neurology, internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopedics and Oncology.
  • Diagnoses range from diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal disease, orthopedic fractures, and neurological deficits.
  • This unit will occupy adult 16 and older medical surgical patients to assist with hospital throughput.
  • General floor care procedures and skills such as IV therapy, labs, nasogastric tubes, wound care assisting physicians with bedside procedures and conscious sedation.

    • MUST WORK 48 HOURS PER WEEK
    • No Holiday RTO - Must be willing to work the holidays: Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, & New Years Day.
    • BLS required
    • 1 year exp required! Must have travel exp!
