    • Qualifications---Candidate would need experience with both wound care and infection prevention---Ability to revise plan of care as indicated by the resident's response to treatment and evaluate overall plan for effectiveness---Requires valid RN/LPN license, CPR card and must pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physicalResponsibilities---Ability to perform wound assessment, reassessment and management for all residents per policy---Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and disorders of the dermal system---Utilizes principles of current wound management theory when providing care to residents with acute and chronic wounds---Demonstrates thorough knowledge of staging system of wounds---Develops skin care program to prevent skin breakdown of residents---Integrates research findings to clinical practice---Knowledgeable of surgical procedures and postoperative course of resident undergoing surgery---Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain---Educates the resident and family regarding pain management---Is a resource person to physicians, nursing and other clinical staff---Provides in-services on wound prevention, wound care, ostomy care and incontinence for the nursing staffQualifications for Treatment Nurse
      • Licensed Nurse with experience in wound management
