  • Nurses can choose a 36-hour or 48-hour work week.
  • Unit Name: Float Pool
  • All candidates will need to complete a virtual interview for this role. Offers will be made based on that interview.
  • Boone Health now requires that all nurse candidates provide current CEU documentation during the compliance process
  • 32 bed fast paced unit.
  • Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatric.
  • Remote Tele
  • Nurse will float to all MS units, cardio, medicine, ortho, surgical, Neuro and Oncology.
  • Common Equipment: IV pumps, Tele, SCD's, PCA pump, Lifts, gait belts, CO2 monitoring.
    • Job Requirements
    • Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:6; may go up to 1:8. Nurses must be willing to take 8 when needed.
    • Line Management/Skills Required: IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management, Vascular Device Access/Care
    • Ortho/MS/Onc Skills Required: Traction, CPM, Epidural/PCA pumps, Feeding Tubes, Wound Vac
    • Cardiac Required: Remote Tele, Tele Interpretation
    • Airway Skills Required: CPAP/BiPAP, Trach Care

          • Effective 01.08.2024 - 16 Hours of Unpaid Orientation
          • For roles with a guarantee, Boone Health can call off staff for up to 36 hours in a contract
