An esteemed healthcare facility in Northwestern South Carolina is seeking an Interim Infection Control Nurse, offering an exciting opportunity to champion patient safety and public health. This role is ideal for a compassionate Interim Infection Control RN expert driven by a commitment to preventing infections and promoting exceptional healthcare standards.The Interim Infection Control Nurse will travel to and from the hospital to work 100% onsite at this highly respected Behavioral Health facility that is certified by The Joint Commission that cares for a mix of adolescents and adult patients and is dedicated to patient-centered care and quality health services. The Interim Infection Control Nurse will be available for a minimum of 13 weeks, with potential to extend if needed or potentially transition to the full time position.Situated in Northwestern South Carolina, the role of Interim Infection Control Nurse provides a unique opportunity to serve a vibrant and growing community. The Interim Infection Control Nurse will be able to work with the Department of Public Health on infection control initiatives.The Infection Control Nurse Interim will report directly to the Director of Nursing, fostering a direct line of communication and strategic implementation. The Infection Control RN Interim may have the opportunity to serve in a Manager Infection Control role, overseeing approximately 10 housekeeping staff if that is determined to be the best practice for infection prevention in the hospital.
