Travel RN - General Surgery (K8) - Mission Hospital - Asheville, NC - 7A-7P / 7P-7A
Location: 509 Biltmore Ave, Asheville, NC - 8th Floor, K-Tower
Join a high-volume, 44-bed general surgery unit specializing in urology and bowel cases. Patient Ratio: 1:6 (days), 1:7 (nights)
EMR: Cerner
Equipment: Telemetry, PCA, wound vacs, Baxter pumps, TPN, tube feeds
Float: To other med-surg units
Staffing: Strong CNA and unit secretary support
Telemetry competency
Urology & bowel surgery experience
Common Procedures: TPN, PCAs, wound vacs, tube feeds, ostomies, heparin drips, and a wide range of general and specialty surgeries
Best Fit: Energetic, upbeat team players who thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving surgical unit. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
