Job Description:
A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment Coder to review
medical records and abstract HCCs.
Key Responsibilities
Code, abstract, and analyze inpatient and outpatient medical
records using ICD-10
Follow CMS risk adjustment guidelines and ICD-10 coding
guidelines
Meet productivity and accuracy standards while defending coding
decisions during audits
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree
preferred
2+ years of professional coding experience in a hospital or
physician setting
Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified
Coding Specialist (CCS) required
