The Chemical Applications Operator is responsible for loading,
unloading, operating and troubleshooting the applications robot;
services the machine with chemical; packs, boxes, and palletizes
the finished product.
This position requires a minimum of Bronze Work keys score
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other
duties may be assigned.
Applies labels to lid for canisters
Applies bottom UPC label to canisters
Unloads slit rolls from Gaylord box and inspects for correct slit
edge quality and contamination
Loads the slit tape rolls into the designated cup on conveyor in
feed into the machine
Removes tape rolls from the robot conveyor after the chemical
application
Cleans/vacuums excessive chemical from tape edges
Places cleaned roll into plastic canister, applies lid and
seals
Packs canister into specified box or display carton
Performs data-entry on SAP Computer System
Assists in the development of new procedures and process
improvement through the S4 system
Assists in training new associates
Performs any other duties assignments made by Shift Manager
