About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Atrium Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.Key Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency
• Prepares patients for procedures with a full explanation and documents on appropriate worksheets
• Interviews patients for a complete medical history and reviews EMR's to obtain pertinent clinical history
• Administers IV contrast according to departmental protocols and records contrast type and amount
• Evaluates technical quality of images and consults with a Radiologist if needed
• Performs basic patient care functions and informs appropriate nursing personnel of any changes in the patient's conditionRequirements
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT scanning within one year of hire
