Job DescriptionAtrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their team in Charlotte, North Carolina.Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
• Operate MRI scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and documenting relevant information.
• Interview patients to obtain a complete medical history and review relevant test results and laboratory data.
• Administer IV contrast as needed and record relevant information.
• Evaluate the technical quality of images and consult with radiologists as necessary.
• Perform basic patient care functions and inform nursing personnel of any changes in patient condition.
• Assist in emergency procedures, including code blue situations.Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA-approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine with advanced registry in MRI.
