challenges. As a Parts Inspector, you'll work to ensure that we
deliver the highest quality products to our customers.The BAE
Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission
Systems is seeking a Parts Inspector (dimensional inspector) for
the 3rd shift.In this role, the Inspector will:
- Inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements
for shipment to customer base.
- Use inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers,
and height gages.
- Provide auditing support to shop floor operations.
- Be able to support on 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday 10:30 PM to 7:00
AM.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must have experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection
tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages,
etc.
- Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.
- Must be able to support 3rd shift (Monday thru Friday 10:30 pm
to 7:00 am).
- Typical experience and education requirements area High School
Diploma or the equivalent, and 1-year related work experience.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Coordinate measurement machine (CMM) and Keyence experience a
plus.
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and
experience beneficial.
- Weld inspection knowledge/experience is a bonus.
- Faro Arm/Laser Tracker experience is a bonus.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $41200 - $65900Please note: This
range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual
salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not
limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and
internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as
