• Certification Details
• Must meet certain certification requirements as outlined in the additional information section related to BLS, ACLS, PALS, EFM, NIH Stroke certification, and various health requirements.
  • Job Details
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted.
  • Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics.
  • General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Diagnoses including but not limited to Chest pain, SOB, Heart failure, Valvular disease; TEE, Structural heart procedures, TD 100 probe cleaner and Philips Epiq ultrasound equipment.
  • Ratio/Census: 1:7 during the week; 1:3 on weekends.
  • Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR.
  • Scrub Color: Red.
  • RTO: MAX 7 days.
  • Weekends: Every third weekend.
  • Floating: Yes, providing services at different locations, IP/OP, etc.
  • Call Requirements: Yes.
  • Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
  • Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.

      • Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. Additional holiday work requirements provided based on the number of holidays within the assignment period.
