Southern Health Partners is seeking a part-time LPN or RN to provide patient care in a correctional environment at the Polk County Detention Center. This position offers flexible scheduling with opportunities for extra income, allowing nurses to pick up PRN shifts and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Key responsibilities include administering medications, evaluating patient symptoms, and ensuring compliance with nursing standards and regulations.

Location: -Polk County Detention Center

Open Position: - -PT LPN or RN

Schedule: -Every Other -Saturday & Sunday 10 hr Day shifts


***Could be every weekend for right candidate

Duties include, but are not limited to: -

• 
  
• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s) -
  
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
  
• Follow through with established treatment plans
  
• Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
