About this roleAs a Registered Nurse at Prisma Health, you will have the opportunity to work in an acute inpatient setting, providing clinical direction for all aspects of patient care. Your primary focus will be to foster patient and family-centered care, while demonstrating clinical competency and utilizing evidence-based practices. You will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, incorporating safety protocols, cost containment, and quality improvement throughout the process.Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data to complete nursing assessments, utilizing appropriate area and age-specific standards and tools.
• Develop and update individual plans of care based on patient needs, collaborating with healthcare team members and documenting progress.
• Provide direct care to patients, delegating tasks as needed and ensuring quality surveillance.
• Evaluate plan of care effectiveness, revising as necessary and reporting changes to the healthcare team.Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• One year of experience as a registered nurse (or completion of Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program)
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South CarolinaWork EnvironmentThis role requires working in a night shift environment, with a significant amount of shift, weekend, holiday, and on-call work. You will be working in a rehabilitation hospital setting, with opportunities to make a meaningful impact on patient care.
